Can you believe we are just 3 short weeks from pool opening and full steam ahead for swim and dive practices and registration (more info to come)?

Coach Christy has set up the schedule for the dive team practices.  Official practices will start Tuesday May 26 but Coach Christy will be at the pool Monday May 25 if anyone wants to get an extra practice in or if you need to get more information or if want to just give it a try.

We are aware that this is a very busy time of the year and you won’t be able to make all the practices but do the best you can.  If you have major conflicts with your practice time please come see me (or email me) or Christy…we’ll see what we can work out for you.

She has done the best she can to coordinate the practices with swim team so that kids can do both if they choose to.

 

 

Ok down to business-  I attended the team rep meeting a few weeks ago.  We have moved up to Division 7.  I think that this is a very good fit for us.  We will have some teams that will challenge us but based on last years #’s we have a pretty good shot to give them a run for their money.

Tuesday July 7- @ Kent Gardens

Tuesday July 14- Commonwealth @ Villa

Tuesday July 21- Lakeview @ Villa

Sunday July 26- Divisionals @ Highland Park

Sunday Aug 2- All Stars @ Dunn Loring

Sunday July 12- Wally Martin 3m Invitational @ OakMarr – we did not attend this meet last year but I would really like to have some kids in it this year. There will be more info on this once the season starts.

I am in the planning stage of putting together a B meet with Fairfax Frogs but I have not confirmed the date at this point…I will keep you posted.
